Born in Zimbabwe, now living in Perth, Australia, Andi is a Producer, DJ and host of the "EDITS 4U" series. Growing up, Kendrick, J. Cole and Kanye were some of his favorites, but Drake emerged as his biggest influence. With projects like "Take Care" & "Nothing Was The Same" helping define Andi's sonic direction, he downloaded FL Studio at 11 years old and started learning YouTube tutorials. He migrated to SoundCloud, dropped his first track at 13, and the rest is history.
“Something I’ve learned is to try not to let the environment get to you. It can feel like your success is directly affected by other’s success in a negative way. It’s easy to draw comparisons and get yourself down when you think like that. It’s true that success is affected by other people, but it’s in a positive way. It’s important to grow with other people and realize that their growth is also indirectly linked to your own. Collaborate as much as you can. Don’t burn bridges—build them."
