Born in Bend, OR and now living in Salem, Matson is a music visionary - Producer, DJ, and the voice behind Cascadia Cuts radio show on KMUZ, live every Sunday from 6pm to 7pm PST. His inspiration comes from the things he loves most, “Art, food, friends, collaborating, his dog Tuffy and of course, Timber’s games” Living in the present is something Matson truly values and “doing what feels right and is true to you, regardless of what you think others might say.” Music has been at the forefront of Matson’s entire life and I’m blessed to have him on the 1s and 2s for one of the last guest mixes of the year.
“I attended Western Oregon U on a track scholarship and studied marketing, worked for Red Bull and learned DJing. Music has always been my number one, I work hard full time by day, and do music at night. Currently producing my first mixtape, so less time to dj for now, but I still mix my favorite music weekly, Sundays at 6pm PST. I don’t usually upload the mixes, every show is just for that moment.”
